Start Fundraising Today!
Whether you donate online on your personal fundraising page, participate in an Easter Seals event and collect offline (cash and cheque) donations, or even host your own fundraising event, there are so many ways that you can support the C21 Kids to Camp Program.
All the money you raise will go towards your individual, office and company fundraising totals, and also count towards helping you become a Kids to Camp Club Member.
Here are some ideas to get you started.
Closing Gifts for Kids
Closing Gifts for Kids is one of the easiest and most effective ways to support the C21 Kids to Camp Program, and it’s also a great way to thank your clients for their business. There’s no registration or sign-up required – as a CENTURY 21 Network member, you’re all set to go!
How does it work?
- Make the commitment: For every purchase or sale of a property, you commit to donating $21 (or more) to Easter Seals in honour of your client.
- Donate online: After each transaction (or at the end of the year in one lump sum) simply make a donation to yourself on your personal fundraising page on the Kids to Camp website. Just click Make a Donation, then search for yourself, click on your name, hit the big red "Donate Now" button on your personal fundraising page, and make sure you select the "Closing Gifts for Kids Donation" option. OR…
- Donate through your CENTURY 21 Office: Check with your office to see if you can automatically participate in Closing Gifts for Kids. If so, you can have your $21 donation automatically deducted from the commission you earn on each transaction.
- Let you client know: To let your client know you’ve made a donation in their honour, you can send them a personalized ecard. Click here to send your card today!
General Online Donation
At any time, you can make a general donation to your personal fundraising page on the Kids to Camp website. Just click Make a Donation, then search for yourself, click on your name, and hit the big red "Donate Now" button. You will automatically receive an electronic tax receipt for any donation of $20 or more.
Send a Kid to Camp: Crowdfunding Campaign
Crowdfunding is a great way to maximize your support and help send a kid to camp. It’s super simple too – to get started, just login to your personal online fundraising page with the username and password that was sent to your @century21.ca email address earlier this year.
Once you’re logged in, you can customize your online profile with photos, videos and a personalized call to action. Then, just share the link to your personal fundraising page with your friends, family, colleagues and clients via email or through social media. It doesn’t take long before the donations start to roll in. All the money you raised through your crowdfunding campaign will go towards your individual, office and company totals, and also help you achieve Kids to Camp Club Member status.
Easter Seals Events
National Event – The Easter Seals Drop Zone
The Easter Seals Drop Zone is a knee-shaking, heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping fundraising adventure that encourages you to get out of your comfort zone and face your fears by rappelling from the top of a towering high-rise building – all in support of Easter Seals. By fundraising a minimum of $1,500 (less in select cities), ordinary people all across Canada are becoming superheroes for a day as they challenge themselves and change lives.
For more than 95 years, Easter Seals has encouraged Canadians living with disabilities to live life actively, pushing boundaries to contribute to the well-being of themselves and their communities. The Easter Seals Drop Zone challenges participants to do exactly that.
Since 2005, Drop Zone events across the country have collectively raised over $16 million, and nearly 8,500 brave superheroes have stepped off the edge in support of Easter Seals.
Find a Drop Zone event in your province and register to rappel as an individual, or better yet, create a team of superheroes with other CENTURY 21 Network members in your office. All the money you raise will count towards your C21 Kids to Camp fundraising total, and also help you achieve Kids to Camp Club Member status. Please be sure to report your fundraising total to your provincial Easter Seals representative to ensure it is counted towards your Kids to Camp total.
